Relaxing, luxurious stay in beautiful villa

We wanted to splurge a bit on our last couple of nights so it was quite nice to stay at the villa. The villa itself and gardens are quite nice. There are several places outside the rooms to sit and chill. The pool was clean and really nice and the swim once it became hot was very refreshing. Breakfast is served on the lawn by the pool which is also nice. We had everything we needed - towels, toiletries, fridge etc. so it was very comfortable. The staff were polite and friendly. Welcome coconut was very nice and they showed us around when we arrived as well.

It's a 30 minute walk to the center and it's a walk along the main road which isn't the easiest but doable. Also technically it's in a town outside of Galle (useful to tell tuk tuks in advance to avoid issues). We asked them the price for a taxi to the airport and they quoted us double the amount of what we paid with another driver we found. They managed to do our laundry in 2 days but we got it late, didn't seem perfectly clean so that was also unfortunate. Breakfast was quite boring - all things considered.

I rarely write reviews but this was genuinely one of the best places I have ever stayed. We stayed in the Deluxe Family Suite with a pool view and it was honestly outstanding and incredible value for money. The room was huge, the beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was massive. The team of staff that work there are so friendly and nothing was too much effort for them. Every morning we were served a 4 course breakfast in the villa's beautiful gardens which was the perfect way to start the day. The pool area is also incredibly luxurious and very well maintained. We took a dip after our breakfast on Christmas Day which was great fun! We had 2 lots of room service in the evening and the staff came and fully set a restaurant standard table setting in the bedroom before serving the food and then cleared it all away again as soon as you were done. As I said, this place was just exceptional and I would 100% stay there again!

Relaxing stay for a prefect Galle visit

The room was very spacious and huge bed was perfect to have a nice sleep after our long travels. Breakfast in the garden is amazing too with a nice view of the swimming pool and bamboo trees. The location is ideal as its away from busy Galle fort . The villa provides a free tuk tuk ride to Galle fort and Galle is such a Unique place to visit with lots of history , old architecture and great restaurants and shopping vibes. All the staff were so nice especially Ashan and also Madhava (friend of the owner Chaminda) who we enjoyed chatting with. Highly recommend this place and Galle !

Boutique hotel in Galle with exceptional level of customer service.

The staff without exception were customer focused and informative. This really is a boutique hotel in a quiet location with a great pool and garden. The breakfast was very very good, the rooms were very comfortable and clean. The complimentary tuk tuk to the fort area was a bonus and more than made up for a lack of facilities in the immediate area. Would return again and definitely recommend the Villa White Queen.

Fabulous place to stay to explore Galle

We stayed 2 nights in the White Queen room - it is so spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean throughout. Best shower and most comfortable bed we have had on our trip and we loved the gardens and the design of the whole house, its stunning! The swimming pool is huge and looks like something you would find in a big luxury resort, set in tropical gardens with lovely sun loungers, great for relaxing. The staff are genuinely lovely, helpful and kind and we had delicious meals in the evening, highly recommend Villa White Queen for a stay in Galle. Only 5 minutes to the Dutch fort area by tuk tuk

the entire property was set on a large lush green block with stunning gardens and pool. The architecture was beautiful and it was very well maintained and clean. I loved that it was approximately a 20 minute walk to the Galle Fort, so it was out of the way a little and quite and peaceful.

Exceptional place to stay for visiting Galle.

Beautiful property with lovely gardens and pool area. Even before we arrived the villa staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed for 7 nights in the family suite which was great accommodation, very clean and comfortable. The villa staff couldnt have been more helpful. They arranged taxi transfer from/to the airport as well as a couple of trips during our stay - one including Koggala lake/sea turtle rescue centre/temple and the other to Udawalawe National Park. They also offered a tuktuk ride into Galle. Food they offered was great - breakfast included in the price and they gave us a Sri Lankan breakfast experience one morning. We also had a couple of evening meals and the food was high restaurant quality. Incredible value for money overall. We had a fantastic stay for the week, our first visit to Sri Lanka, and will be back!
