The staff were very friendly and helpful they brought us a heater for the room on request and made us a fine cup of tea. Breakfast was tasty, continental style. The house is situated in the tea fields, but we couldnt experience them due to the bad weather (rain).

The house is in need of freshening up. It is an old colonial style house, with wooden floors and windows, but it felt cold and really damp. The bathroom and the room were cold. Internet connection was very weak.

Very nice location right across some tea fields. Very friendly and helpful staff. Late check-in (after 9pm) was no problem.

Due to the bad weather and the rain the rooms were a little coldish.

A pleasant stay

Thank you for your great hospitality, Shameera and the boys who were so helpful throughout our entire stay! We loved the location as it was slightly out of the town (you can cover the town area and the tourist attractions) in a day so being tucked in a local and quiet area was a refreshing change for city folk like me. The crew was already to extend a helping hand and they were genuinely nice.

Very good

Comfortable one night stay for three friends. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We appreciated the welcome tea and suggestions on dinner and things to do. We were put in touch for a taxi to/from the train station and a tuktuk driver for enjoying the area. Breakfast the next morning was a nice plus and modifications for dietary restrictions (one gluten free traveler) were appreciated.

Warning for others staying overnight on Saturday - not sure if a religious place is nearby, but bring earplugs as there were prayers (or something else) playing over loudspeakers. We knew the location was away from the town center but didn't realize quite how far and the lack of walkability, so perfect for those who want the setting of the tea fields and are ok getting a taxi/tuktuk from point a to b.

Absolutely worth it

One of our more expensive reservations but it was totally worth it! The hot tub and the view outside is definitely worth it! The staff were wonderful and friendly and the breakfast was awesome!
