Lovely homely guest house in a great location 5 mins walk to Flic en Flac beach. Gorgeous gardens & a very pretty setting. Abi is a top bloke & all the ladies who work there are nice. Good breakfast & all round fantastic value.

There are a lot of house rules which can be a bit overwhelming when you arrive but in fairness everything runs very smoothly so it obviously works. Our bed was a standard double which felt small as we'd become used to king size elsewhere in Mauritius. Still comfy though so no big deal.

the room was spacious, as well as the bathing room. big windows. the breakfast could be a bit more "diversified". buying tea or coffee on place would make it perfect. the roof top terrace is fantastic. also the music

the beach close by is nice but the big public beach is quite far away. but you can still walk there. possibilty to aks for tea or coffee (also on sale) would be nice

it was doable but i found it was really not value for money

The host was really helpful in providing information. roof top terrace is amazing for just chilling in the evenings.

i found the restaurants a bit far. the road was badly lit back to the guesthouse. Of the 4 days one had no water and the other two no hot water to shower. Breakfast was very basic, the room was extremely small with no cupboards so had to live out of a suitcase for 4 days. the beach closeby is full of washed up coral and seaweed so had to walk a distance for a go

Excellent location; Great value for money!

Outstanding location and excellent hosts! This property is great value for money - a clean, homely and affordable stay with immediate access to the beach and other attractions of Flic-en-Flac. Would definitely recommend this to travellers looking for a reasonable place to stay that doesn't cost the world.

It would be nice to have some extra services, even if on a paid basis. This includes additional options for a hot breakfast. We definitely missed having a TV in the room, as there is little else to do once you get back to the premises in the evening.

The house is very cute, the pool is nice and the location is also very good! Also good that it had a safe! Staff is very nice as well as the included breakfast. Would stay there again.

Rather loud neighbors and/or dogs in the neighborhood which is not he fault of the house owner.

Great value for the money you pay

Great and always fresh homemade breakfast, beautiful garden, nice swimming pool, nice place to relax on the rooftop, friendly and very helpful staff, very comfortable bed

In the evening you need to go through a pretty dark street to go to restaurants, beach etc; wifi connection is pretty bad in the rooms; shower and towels need some maintenance/upgrade
