Very good

Relaxed, character filled hotel with great staff, great pool and intimate setting.

Staff attentive and helpful. Dinners and the pool were great. Breakfast was limited but filled us up. Character of the hotel was terrific, including the rooms and the overall ambience. The location of the hotel is in a suburban area with little around it but fantastically located if exploring much of Mauritius being midway along the west coast.

Parking a little cramped, coffee options limited, internet issues (even if not the fault of the hotel), very firm bed.

Superb

Very welcoming hotel, but slightly out of the way

The staff were very welcoming and friendly and their speed of response when contacted through booking.com was exceptional. The room was large and clean and the terrace was a great addition - it was lovely to sit out in the evening and have a drink. The breakfast was great (eggs, bacon, fruit, pancakes and coffee) and the pool area was very beautiful (which is where you sit for breakfast). The dinner that we had at the hotel one night was also wonderful - an excellent 3 course meal for our last night. There was good space for car parking and the dog that lived at the hotel was very cute, but not excessively friendly - he would visit for a few minutes before moving on.

Although we chose the location because it is fairly central to the island, there is not much around the hotel (shops, bars, restaurants etc.). You would certainly need a car if you were to stay here - it has good access to main roads to the north and south of the island as well as the airport. The bathrooms were a bit outdated, but the water pressure was great in the shower and everything was clean. The bed was a bit hard, but perhaps that's personal taste.

Nice villa

Very quiet place. Easy access to bus in order to get to the town. Beautiful view of the ocean. Super clean place. Very good and tasty food. Friendly staff, making that place ,amazing... Surely, I 'll come back..

Fantastic hotel

The room and shower room are larger than we would normally expect and there was a large terrace outside the patio door. The hotel fronts directly onto the sea and has a pleasant pool. The breakfast is delicious as was the dinner menu. The staff are friendly and helpful with advice on trips etc.

This is not a reflection on the property but there are no bars or restaurants in the immediate vicinity. In order to find a bar or restaurant you have to travel into Port Louis. The local buses are regular and cheap, but this should be borne in mind if staying in Pointe aux Sables.
