The facilities are clean, stylish furniture and decor, comfortable and cozy shared spaces. The pool and beach staff are attentive and helpful. They also accommodated our late checkout request.

The breakfast spread is dismal. I've booked other UAE hotels for way cheaper than what I paid VIDA, and their breakfast buffets are far more impressive. Considering the regular rates VIDA charges per night in comparison to similarly priced hotels, VIDA's spread isn't that great. Also, our bedroom with balcony 308 smelled like bathroom all the time, from the mome3we stepped in. It seems to be coming from the vent or a source within the room that's unaddressed though the bathrooms were clean

A reasonably priced getaway from the city

Staff were very accommodating; special mention to Prince in Origins Restaurant and Simo at Reception. Both went above and beyond their role to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The pool is wonderful for young children - a large shallow area and ample sunbeds both by the pool itself and on the beachfront. The rooms were exceptionally clean (we were lucky enough to be ungraded to a suite upon arrival, which was wonderful). Extra amenities in our room made a difference to our stay, including complimentary flip flops for use at the pool, bathrobes, Apple TV and coffee machine.

Food quality was a little disappointing for a 5 star hotel. Choice at the pool bar and room service was limited and waiter service was not available at the pool. We also experienced some long delays with our food orders and faced issues with Apple TV service in our living room, which unfortunately the tech team could not resolve during our stay. We were also a little disappointed with the ambience at Origins restaurant. On Christmas Day, no music was being played throughout the restaurant and it lacked atmosphere.

Incredible hospitals from staff: Thank you simo for taking the extra step to make it special

I was astonished by the immense care this hotel provides to its guests. Specifically Simo, from the reception, he constantly followed up with us if we were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything. He would literally call our room and ask us if we would like anything and if we were doing fine! This is what we call hospitality ! He took time to explain all the facilities at the hotel and asked us questions like what we like to enjoy etc. He explained the food provided at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Therefore we ended up eating at origins all the time (it was delicious and fresh). I have been to many 5 start resorts and have never experienced such great hospitality from the staff.

Pleasant stay, value for money, definitely recommended.

Our stay was very pleasant. The hotel is beautiful with stylish design. We enjoyed the facilities, breakfast was very nice, friendly staff, overall great experience and value for money.

The only thing we could say was a bit uncomfortable was the soft mattress of the bed!
