Very good

Resort with secluded feel in the privilege adults only area.

Loved the secluded privilege beach area. The sandy lanes restaurant and bar also great! Staff good in this area. Sara and the restaurant staff were great!

Feel the rooms could use some investment. Really doesnt feel like a 4 star hotel and its unfair on the staff.

All Veranda hotels are not the same quality! This one was great.

Staff were super friendly. Nothing was too much for them Ramdass at the restaurant was exact and went out of his way to be helpful quickly. The fact that you can arrive early and they have facilities for you to take a shower and use the resort while you wait to check in was incredibly nice. That convenience is extended when you check out too. They have umbrellas in each room too in case it rains ( this was very well used ) the food has a nice variety and is fresh. Overall a lovely experience. Wed book here again.

The guys on the beach keep pestering you to do paid activities, even when you decline. After breakfast its impossible to get a sun lounger and there are towels on all of them but no people. Its like people come really early to book these loungers and pitch much later knowing in the day when someone else could have been using them already.

Nothing. This hotel disgusts me and made my long trip to Mauritius a horrible one. I will NEVER GO BACK. I have never ever written a single negative comment on ANY place I've stayed. But this, this really takes the cake.

1. Incompetent reception staff who insisted he cannot find my booking using my passport details - I MUST email to him a screenshot of my booking because MY PASSPORT WOULDN'T ALLOW HIM TO KNOW THE TYPE OF ROOM I BOOKED. Even the most basic hotel/motel would have guest details and the corresponding assigned room. 2. Same incompetent staff passed me the complimentary spa voucher that came with my booking but the spa was not open when I went over at 3pm. Went to check with this staff the opening hours of the spa and he said it is open just that the therapists are busy. He asked me to go and TRY again later to see if anyone is there and I CANNOT MAKE A PHONECALL TO THE SPA TO BOOK. I MUST PERSONALLY GO DOWN AND TRY MY LUCK. 3. Told this staff to arrange for full refund (and I'll pay for the first night) because I cannot tolerate his poor service. He got the hotel manager to look for me and he sent to me a bottle of champagne. Appreciate the gesture but he misses the point. I couldn't find another available hotel so I had to stay. 4. RACIST restaurant staff saw me on the first day and went to his other colleague and yelled "eh, Chinatown! Chinatown!". Remaining days of my trip was horrible because I had to see him everyday during dinner at the hotel. 5. Everyday, one of the hotel staff will keep chatting me up in a very uncomfortable manner and has even asked me for my social media accounts. He even went to the beach when I was trying to read my book and kept chatting and insisting that I'm from China and he wants to learn Chinese from me. 6. I'm not allowed to order food at 1130am because lunch time is from 12pm. I took a 17+hrs flight and the moment I reached the hotel, I just need to rest and eat something while waiting for my room to be ready but everyone told me to go out. 6. They do not serve food/drinks to you on the beach. Ordered a drink and the staff at the bar asked if I was heading to he beach or the pool.

We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay

I'm glad we paid the extra for a privileged room in the Sandy village. It was very relaxed and quiet. The staff were lovely and always very helpful. Spotless rooms. We reported a faulty hairdryer to staff and a new one was fitted by maintenance an hour or so later. Good service

The wording in the information pack is a little out of date regarding gender equality. Instead of saying, 'Evening dress code for dinner: Men must wear long trousers, no shorts' it ought to say, 'No shorts please' as it should apply to everyone.

Exceptional

Very friendly staff, felt super welcomed within the whole stay. Very clean hotel and public areas including beach. All inclusive was definitely worth it. Drinks can also be taken down to the beach. Privileged pool & bar is a bit smaller but yet very beautiful and if you like it more quite its worth to spend a sunny, relaxed day there as well. Activities/ diverse trips can be booked via Breadly+Team who are at the beach area. Trustworthy & respectful guys will help you to book any trip possible for a good price! Also very recommendable. Overall a 10/10 holiday :) thanks to everyone for making that possible!
