It is a good place for meditation

This is the best place that I have ever lived . Gordon and Norlida are approachable, friendly and extremely helpful. I love the big big open skies with sunset. Quiet and peaceful !!! You wont regret choosing here !

Its a unique and unforgettable experience!

The location is high up on a mountain and the view is amazing! It is also within a short drive to the Kuah city center. Breakfast is delicious and consists of freshly baked bread, cereals and fruits. Most of all, our hosts Gordon and Norlida are warm and friendly people who went out of their way to make our way pleasant and memorable!

Nothing much. The drive up to the property is actually alright after we are familiar with it.

Gordon is a very nice owner, fantastic view from the balcony, great breakfast and overall so quiet environment. Perfect to relax for a few days and still just a few minutes drive from Kuah city center.

Dont think twice if youre up for an adventurous and steep ride to enjoy perfect view with serene environment in Langka

The view from the balconies is perfect. You can feel nature at its peak - the sounds of birds, lush green trees and calmness of Langkawis islands. Its like hidden gem of Langkawi - no wonder why not too many Grab drivers know about this location! Perfect for me time away from hustle bustle of the touristy places. Ill stay again! Gordon - the property owner is such a gentleman and he tries to accommodate you as much as possible. It shows he loves to host!

The approach to the place is not for weak hearted. Its a steep road through dense trees including adventurous and gorgeous turns - roughly 10 mins drive from the main area. I cant say I didnt like this fact about Verandah. I in-fact enjoyed the stay because of that - solo travelers generally tend to explore more

Hidden gem, dont hesitate, just book; youll see :-)

Simply one of the best places weve stayed in twenty years of global traveling. The view, the hosts, location, peacefulness and tranquility beyond the unexpected. Akin to living in the treetops amongst wildlife, some of which I didnt know existed; plus home made breakfast, endless tea/coffee and a warm welcome. Epitomised the term hidden gem.

Theres nothing to dislike so lets address the uniqueness. The drive up/down the hillside is a daily adventure so youll need a decent car/bike. Its completely off the beaten track so everywhere is a drive, markets and food all within ten minutes; everything the island has to offer is within thirty minutes. Gordon & Norlinda, thank you both again for a wonderful stay :-)

You won't be disappointed by this place. It has an amazing view. I did reckons, and our stay at here was exquisite. Far from all noisy (transportation) but ain't far either, very recommended for those who like to experience tropical vibes. You can see the nearest islands and pekan kuah, and what I personally like is sunset view with the azan its really make my days. Also much appreciated for Gordon & Norlida for having us at their places, they we're really friendly and helpful.

Stunning peaceful vacation

This is a stunning location. Gordon went out of his way to make the stay memorable, from the airport pick up and drop off, organising a motorbike be dropped of to us, organising a Mangrove tour and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was great each morning looking at the incredible view. the room is large and comfortable, with as great shower and again the balcony and view is stunning. this was a very peaceful place to stay.

this may be an issue for others but not for us, was the distance from town. Gordon organised motorbike from day one that for us which made it so easy. and Gordon was extremely generous with other guests taking them down to the restaurant and bar area, plus there is Grab taxi service.
