Overall stay was good.

the staff was quite helpful. Although it was hard to find the entrance to the hostel. The hostel is located on the main street of Venice beach and easy walk the area.

Couple of things that I didn't like 1. The room when I entered was smelling a bit. i believe it was because of the humidity. 2. Room wasn't updated and everything was clean but old. for the amount I paid I would expect a really good room 3. No lift which means you have to carry your items by yourself up the stairs. Although the reception person was helpful she helped me get my bag up as I had a baby with me.

Excellent stay at VBH!

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, large kitchen with all basic utensils, balcony area with sea views, comfortable beds

Loved my stay

Quiet, nice busy area and a code is needed to get in if you're staying there. The staff is really nice, felt like I was staying at home.

Its a good place to enjoy the beach

well located, comfortable bed, and good breakfast

They charged some fees that I didn't expect, initially they would be $50 and at check-in I paid $87. I also expected there to be a locker in the room for my suitcase but they were very small
