How Barekal Farmstay spoilt my birthday!

They did not let me stay here so I can't say.

After a tiring Kodchadri trek I wanted to treat myself to a relaxing stay because it was my birthday, so at Nittur I checked on booking.com and booked this decent looking homestay Barekal Farmstay and got the booking confirmation. Then I took a bus to Arodi to reach the place. And they simply said we don't have any rooms available, then why the hell does it even show that the rooms are available. Since it was almost 6 PM and there was no other stay nearby I just decided to return to Bangalore. Got drenched while walking back to Arodi bus stop, waited for an hour for bus to come and travelled all the way to Shivamogga in wet clothes. Thank for wasting my time and weekend, and also for the fever I caught due to travelling in wet clothes. Thanks for making my birthday special Barekal Homestay and Booking.com!
