Exceptional

I had an amazing experience during my stay at this booking. The hosts went above and beyond to make me feel welcome, surprising me with a refreshing drink upon arrival. They even offered me bed tea, a thoughtful gesture not mentioned in the facilities. Their kindness extended further as they generously dropped me off at the bus stand without any charge. The room facilities surpassed my expectations and I'm already looking forward to staying here again. Highly recommended!

Wonderful! Comfortable, convenient, and a very friendly environment

We had a wonderful stay at Umaya. The hospitality is second to none! The hosts are so friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast and tea each morning. The room was very comfortable and clean and had all the amenities needed. Would highly recommend! A convenient location just a short walk from the swimming lake and not far from the sacred city

Would definitely stay here again. Dinner was delicious and great value for money too.

Very friendly and kind host. The staff went above and beyond to help us. Excellent location and value for money.

No fault of the property, a monastery was playing loud music to 5 am.

Everything was good (except the internet).

The wifi is very bad. And mobile internet (Dialog and Mobitel) are also have very bad connection. So, I won't recommend it if you need internet.

by far the best accommodation I have come across in Sri Lanka, I would come back here in a heartbeat.

The room was very clean and tidy, Madu made me lovely coffee in the morning and was beefy friendly and very helpful.

Amazing hosts and great location

This is a lovely place to stay in a great location if you want to visit the sacred city. Our host was kind enough to let us rent her bicycles which was a perfect way to get around. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. On both days we stayed our host gave us complimentary snacks and drinks and made us tea - seriously the best tea weve ever had!
