Uga Residence surpassed our expectations! The perfect blend of attentive service and culinary excellence for a memorable

Uga Residence was the perfect tranquil retreat to recover from our flight from the UK. We were super excited to stay at this gorgeous colonial property and it did not disappoint! The staff were extremely and courteous and attentive. Dinesh and the Reception Manager went above and beyond to ensure our every need was catered for. We have to mention the restaurant. The food was simply delicious, the Sri Lankan omelette is the best I have tasted and the service amazing. A big thank you to the extended team too for making our stay in Colombo such a memorable one.

Beautiful, peaceful hotel with so much space in the room

We stayed here for one night as a stop over and the hotel is amazing. Didnt feel like you were in the middle of Colombo at all, was so peaceful and luxurious. The suite was beautiful and the pool area was very nice. The staff were very attentive and looked after us well. We had a very early check in and they made sure everything was ready for our arrival. Overall, an amazing place to stay to start our honeymoon

Didnt affect our time but the air con unit was leaking slightly

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurant although a bit slow had a very good menu and good quality food.

Excellent Boutique Hotel

1) The service was excellent 2) The staff were very professional and helpful 3) The room was very spacious and clean 4) Loved the fruit and coffee pod machine in the room 5) The breakfast and in room dining food were excellent 6) there are great restaurants just across the street 7) the lemongrass and Ginger tea was so refreshing

Just a suggestion, to consider replacing the paving around the pool, and the courtyard off the room, with Victorian style black and white paving. It would elevate the area into a feature.

lovely comfortable stay enormous room excellent show best passionfruit daiquiri I have ever had nice big supermarket near - Aprico or something? - hard to find in SL cook food market/restaurant area on the street

courtyard area could be cleaner - prevent pigeons and crows from bathing in the sides of the pool please breakfast really didnt work for me - we were presented with a menu which had prices on and no guidance on how to order? did we pay? did we order one thing? do we order one of each? i then asked for croissant and bagel but both were enormous so I generated wasted. i assumed they would be small. Breakfast set up needs some work. food was good though
