Superb

Great location. Walking distance to Monkey Forest and lots of shops and cafes. Clean tidy room. Lovely pool. Friendly staff who helped take our luggage up some big stairs where are accommodation was. Our kids loved being able to sit on our balcony and watch the monkeys playing in the tree's. We would stay here again.

Perfect location to explore Ubud and beautiful staff

The location of this property is excellent. Beds comfortable and staff are beautiful. No need to go to monkey Forrest as you have your own show each day at the hotel. Hotel is a bit tired but it is good value for money and pool is great. The Warung is also very good value. Overall would stay again

Bathrooms are a bit weird. Property a bit tired and our air conditioner wasnt great

Exceptional

What a surprise this was. Very centrally located. We had only booked for one night and were disappointed that we couldn't extend our stay as they were fully booked. Beautiful, quirky building. We were staying in the building to the very rear of the property through the gardens. Beautiful surroundings you'd think you were a million miles from the town centre but it really is in the thick of it. The pool looked good but unfortunately we didn't get time to use it. The rooms were spacious and clean.

Not a dislike at all, but just be careful not to leave anything outside your room as the monkey sanctuary is adjacent and in the morning we saw lots of cheeky monkeys trying their luck. Also, not a problem for us, but there are lots of steps at the property.

The room is spacious. It is very lush green. Rooms have distance in between, not looking into each others terraces.My room was right by the pool, thus enjoying it any time of the day.

Overall decent room in a good price, located very close to the Monkey Forest (and shopping streets ;))

I didnt like the AC installed next to the bed, which was loud and was blowing directly on me. There is no isolation in the roof so when it was raining in the night it was extremely loud.

Worker spying on me through sun window while I was getting dressed in my room

I have stayed at Ubud Terrace quite a few times in my trips to Bali. Usually the setting and staff are really wonderful and it is a place I use to feel very safe. As a solo female traveller, safety is important for me. However, that all changed one morning when I was getting dressed, stark naked and I turned around to see one of the Balinese workers staring straight at me through a sun window in the privacy of my room. I quickly dressed and ran out of the room to confront him and of course he denied it. I obviously went to the front counter and complained. I felt so let down and invaded and to make it so much worse they told me that it never happened and it was impossible but I know what I saw. They even tried to convinced me that I saw a monkey. I'm not an idiot,i know what a small monkey and a full grown man looks like. It was a very upsetting and disappointing situation. I was extremely grateful for Booking.com for acknowledging my concerns when I raised it with them. They had me take photos of the area to ensure accessibility of the incident and they were able to refund me for my entire stay.
