The pools were great. The location was good for us as well. We liked that it was on the quiet side of the island. Its about a 10 min walk from the pier, but the hotel meets you there with a trolley for your bags. The room was ok. The bed was comfy. The rooms are up a steep hill, and they drive you and your bags up on a motorbike. My partners wallet dropped out of his pocket with the force of the bike up the hill. We didnt even notice, and received a call the next morning that his wallet had been found. It was returned with all contents including all our cash!

It seems that URip shares its reception with at least one other hotel. Maybe even 2 or 3 other hotels. The pool has a lot of steps/shallow areas within it, so if you are keen on doing laps count that out. There is also a lack of sunbeds and umbrellas, theres definitely room for a few more, and theyre all mismatched. They ran out of beach towels half way through the day. Our bathroom was a bit dirty down the side between toilet and shower. The hotel is up high (tsunami safe!) and I dont mind the hill, but they could do with some trellis under the rooms to hide the mess/plumbing underneath.

The staff was alright and the food was good.

We chose a room with Mountain View but there wasn't a mountain , room was very dirty like everywhere with a bad smell , the door handle was broke or something ,we cannot keep the door close without lock it. And way too much bleach in the pool !

Decent pool

Poor breakfast, not many options and drinks were warm. Rooms a bit old and run down, our bathroom was having repairs done to it after we checked in. Got stung by a sea urchin while on Phi Phi and asked staff at the hotel if they could provide a bucket so could soak foot in warm water and they couldnt even provide that.

The pool was nice and the location was far from the night life which made it relaxing.

The rooms were a bit old and there were mosquitos or something in the room which bit me many times in the night.

Swimming pool was nice, ac works well

Rooms need maintenance. Toilet paper holder and toilet seat were broken. Water in shower has a terrible smell. Actually smells like drain water. Not pleasant at all. Beach loungers and umbrellas at beach would have been nice

Good location but very run down hotel

The location really good. It was close enough to the town, so you could walk but far from the party so it was quiet.

The hotel was really run down, need serious renovations. The room smelled really bad, bed uncomfortable and toilet was broken. Breakfast was awful.

Great location, pool and lovely staff! Thanks U Rip!!

The resort is at the quiet end of phi phi which I loved, the pool is absolutely stunning and has views of the bay! My room was basic but good! I almost cancelled after seeing the bad reviews online but it was so fine!! I had an amazing view from my balcony! For price, pool and location your cant go wrong! The room was big and clean, theres also robes and they cleaned the room every day. The staff were super friendly!! They have someone meet you to pick up your luggage and take back to the resort (theres no scooters on phi phi) And the breakfast was great, theres so many reviews saying limited options but there was loads of stuff and same amount as everywhere else Ive stayed in Thailand.

Shower head needed replacement and room smelt a little like moth balls but Ill take that over not having bugs in my room, and I lit incense and it was fine. They need a coffee machine as they only offer the instant stuff so go elsewhere if you want a decent coffee. Otherwise everything was great. Its not bougie by any means but youre not in your room much in phi phi anyway so served its purpose!

you can have deep sleep next to the pool..

Pool is big and I had good deep sleep next to the pool..

I have nothing to comment what I dislike about this hotel. For the rate that i paid, it was superb. Those who love to complaint and feel entitle I would like to suggest to these people "no need to travel at all".. :)
