The TRYP by Wyndham Newark Downtown has a great location, close to the Amtrak station and Prudential Center. The rooms are clean and spacious, with comfortable beds. Some guests were upgraded without (Read More) extra charge. The hotel offers good security with key access for the elevator. However, the cost of breakfast was seen as expensive and the size of the rooms was smaller than expected. Overall, the hotel is convenient for events and has a modern appearance, but some minor flaws were noted.

Very well taken care of.

The staff was incredibly helpful, patient and competent, always finding a solution to our requests. On one occasion, an item got lost. The manager helped retrieve it in no time. The location is also ideal for traveling to Manhattan Penn Station. I warmly recommend this clean, comfortable and very well managed hotel.

The main advantage of the hotel is its location relative to the PATH station and inexpensive parking (as for New York). Good price. A wonderful bonus is the view of the Manhattan skyscrapers from the window! The room is modern, closer to high-tech style. In general, the hotel is good for transit tourists by car who want to visit New York. Although the travel time to NY is quite long.

There are ill-considered moments - the desktop is very inconveniently located and it is very shaky and flimsy. The fan in the bathroom does not turn off. Breakfast is not included in the price, but we went to look at it in the morning and refused - it was too modest for the money required.

Good hotel, would recommend

The room was clean. The neighborhood felt relatively safe. Short walking distance from Newark Penn station. Good value for the price.

I guess the hair dryer wasn't delivered quickly to the room but it was still alright, really nothing bad about the place.

I don't have anything I like on this hotel.

Booking charged my credit card before my arrival to the hotel, why the hotel had to recharge me when I arrive? and Booking is not going to refund me.
