My stay, here was very rocky. dont have high expectations.

I like that most of the staff was very pleasant and willing to help. I had an issue with upgraded my room.

My original room was not clean properly, and my toilet had booty marks on it. I also had a few bugs in my room as well.. when they upgrading my room because of the issues, my room end up flooding and I was not accommodated after that.

Don't expect to much

Our trip was booked in July, I had requested transportation from the airport to the hotel. However, for 4 months, TRS Cap Cana never responded to messages sent about transportation. When I asked in July, they sent me a message with the name and email of someone to provide transportation. The email provided was invalid. I made several attempts to contact the hotel via phone, but no one answered the phone. I had to book a taxi while on the flight from Charlotte, NC, to Punta Cana. Upon arrival to the hotel, we were told the room we had booked wasn't available. We were told that they'd put us in a different room and we would have to change rooms on Monday, which was horribly inconvenient. We asked four different people for extra towels but never received the extra towels. The staff had trouble keeping the mini bar/refrigerator stocked. We had to call 3-4 imes a day to get it refilled. The trip was booked in my name. However, once they realized my wife spoke Spanish, it was like I didn't exist anymore. Our consiaire would only message my wife. Overall, the stay was ok. The food wasn't as good as the reviews suggested. It was more like airplane food. On 3 occasions, I ordered the ribeye medium rare, all 3 times I got well done. Honestly, you could get a better steak at a chain restaurant like Texas Roadhouse. The best meal of the day was breakfast.

My 40th

I loved the staff and the resort. The accommodations was moderate. The activities were fun each day. I loved the DJ and the Spa as well as the bartenders, they kept the drinks flowing especially mi amiga Francisco. Lol Our Butler Maximo also helped in decorating our room for my 40th bday, which was nice of him!

The food was horrible. The restaurant choices were Caribbean Cuisine, Italian ,Mediterranean, or Steakhouse. Each night, the food was a disappointment. I wish they had an open buffet with fresh fruits, a breakfast bar, and unlimited ice cream like some of the other resorts I've been to. We ate at other restaurants outside of the resort for 3 of our 7 nights stay. They should also stick to their Dominican roots and offer authentic Dominican Cuisine.

Superb

Great resort for the amenities, the people, and the drinks.

The staff was exceptional. They really made our trip special. Danny, Francisco, Angel, Santa, Juan, Tairi, The international DJ E, The Chef that was at the Grill by the pool (forgot his name). All the drinks were amazing. The room was great, although much time wasnt spent in it. We had the swim up suite and spent most of our time at the big pool, or the private pool.

This properties biggest downfall is their food. It was very repetitive and inconsistent, I know thats counterintuitive but thats the best way to describe it.
