OK hotel, but very overpriced for what you get

Great location

TV didn't work and we had to request a repair, coffee capsules were not there when we came - had to request. Room was dated, also definitely not worth it to get a balcony and pay extra - as they put us on the 1st floor - which made everything noisy.

Dana (MGR), Alex, and Sergey provided great customer service. Rooms were comfortable, and the hotel was in a great location. Walking distance to restaurants and bars.

Lovely space, staff was friendly, basic breakfast.

I ended up moving out of Villa Van Rothschild because it was just too noisy - you could hear the clubs and music at night and in the morning trucks and the street. Thought the property was lovely but just couldn't handle how noisy it was. I moved to another Brown Hotel - Bobo down the street which wasn't as charming but much quieter.

Such nice and helpful staff deserves a better taken care hotel to work for

Everybody extremely helpful, especially Dana.

Terrible noise from parties outside till late at night, so couldn't fall asleep. Double glazed windows would have helped. The remote of the TV was not working as it should, in the end (after talking to maintenance over the phone) it appeared you had to physically touch the TV in a hardly noticable spot for volume and function which was very annoying.
