Its quite far away from most attractions so I would recommend a car. There is not a tonne to do in the area.

Retro feel with high standard of cleanliness. Good modern shower. Lovely pool area, very instagrammable!

Theres supposed to be staff at the desk all day but they often disappear. We saw them having a drink at the bar one time while the office door was closed. They cant be bothered about noise either - there was a wild party at the pool around 2am our first night there that could be heard across the whole motel but nothing was done about it. There was garbage left all over the tables the next morning and was only picked up later. The bar is cute but you cant get a frozen drink there. The location is in the middle of town which is great for driving but its seedy at night - its not the place to walk back from a restaurant at night.
