Superb

The room is pretty big and near to shilin market. Pretty near to the train station as well

The attitude of the staff was unfortunately not up to par as compared to my stay in other tango hotel. This is especially so when we check in on the first night. No one helped with the room or the lift or even smiled when we were struggling with our luggages and young child. They were busy chatting with each other and receiving phone calls

Walking distance to Shilin Market.

Shilin market is a short 7min walk away. Subways is also conveniently situated right in front of the hotel.

Room was a little small. The round table took up too much space.

Very good hotel in spite of a few details which need fixing (see above) and where wed love to go back.

Very comfortable room, great bed, superb shower and very pleasant view on the Mountain. Great toilet with 26 function buttonsall indicated in Chinese but the graphics help!

Lousy TV programme selection ( no international news channel, some Asian sitcom and translated US 3-rate movie channels, duplicated channels etc.), standoffish front desk staff (it should not be too difficult to teach them to greet guests when they come in and go out) with the exception of one young guy who helped us find theatre tickets, lack of variety for breakfast (but very friendly staff in the breakfast room)

Room are really nice and comfortable. I loved the tea and coffee complementary in the room.

Food at breakfast is ridiculous: as ingredients and as preparation ( and I work in fine restaurant business). Jacuzzi in the room is just a little blow in the water, swimming pool is often closed and working hours are too short

Its a pleasant stay but I feel its over-priced.

1. The staff in general were friendly, especially those serving at the breakfast place. 2. Venue wise is easily accessible by mrt.

1. Heard so much about the breakfast. Was a let down with very limited choices for the price paid. 2. One of the male reception staff was rather impatient when I asked for direction. Didnt even have eye contact. Not what one would expect from reception staff. Need to qualify that he was the only exception. The rest were generally fine. 3. The room with balcony was too much a hype. It was dusty and no outdoor furniture for guest to sit and enjoy a cuppa. So not worth paying for rooms with balcony. That said, room is generally clean. 4. Although accessible by mrt, hotel is far off everything. For those who want a happening place, this isnt. But others like me may prefer the quiet neighbourhood.
