Hotel didnt have any record of my reservation! Had to sit around in the lobby till they figured out over phone with booking.com- took about 30-40 minutes. Then I was told that I have to pay the full amount upfront- not just token advance for one night. Room overlooked a dump yard / back end of another building- not a biggie except the room itself was small and claustrophobic with a musty smell. When asked - I was told hotel was full so I can't be moved. Poorly maintained dingy room, noisy ac broke down on the second night. Had to move to another room at 1030 pm. Third night, horrible ear splitting noise till 1 am because room was above nightclub celebrating new year eve. Facilities were below average, bathrooms had mold, toiletries had to be asked for, as were drinking water bottles. Next time if I have to pay this much, Id rather go to a holiday inn or hyatt further away and a couple of thousand more. Front staff was mostly unhelpful- might be due to management stance on cost cutting- it was like walking into a morgue- sour faces, no greetings. They care very little as long as paid upfront. Housekeeping was ok, breakfast was average

Good room and food

Very good spread of breakfast was there. Dining room staff were very efficient and friendly.

Reception staff were curt and not really polite. It seems that they are new on job or need more training to handle guests.

Overall it was good

The hotel is good for stay. But renovation work is going on. That's why They are not able to provide lively atmosphere. Bar is not open. Swimming pool is not working. breakfast is good.

Always asked for room cleaning.

The Room and facilities were worth the price and the staff was courteous and extremely professional.

There was some construction work going on in the 6th floor, I would request the management to not allocate rooms to people on the impacted floors as the sound and Smell of the paint can be really nauseatic.

Sonnet Hotel- A Good Choice.

The friendly and helpful staffs.

A small hotel with reasonably good facilities.Buffet breakfast was adequate with a limited but fair balance of varieties.Overall I was satisfied with my stay,and will choose to stay there again in the future.

All in all, would recommend this Hotel for small and also large family groups !!

The hotel is very comfortable for groups as well as families. Not only is the location very good (walking distance to City Center 1 and central to all facilities in and around Salt Lake); Further, the staff is very courteous and helpful, catering to all needs of guests; Also, the breakfast spread and the taste of food is very good.
