Great resort, excellent facilities, good position right on the beach. realy good resort

Restaurants where great, grounds and pools fantastic. Being right on the beach with many small shops and restaurants run by locals outside of the resort gave lots of choice. The resort is next to a national park with plenty of walking tracks which is nice for active guests.

Gym was adequate but could have had more equipment for a large resort. Resort was about 45 mins drive to old town Phuket which is worth a day trip and night out which we did once, but it may be an issue if you wanted to spend a lot of time shopping and going out at night. We spent 5 days mostly at the resort and beach which was exactly what we wanted.

The Slate was the first hotel we stayed in once we arrived & it swept us away with its modernity & luxury. The service is excellent. We had lunch dinner & breakfast in the resort & all three meals were delicious and full of flavor. The resort is super spacious with a lovely bar and ambience to watch the sunset. The bed is super comfortable and the bathroom is spacious.

The staff here went above & beyond to ensure this was an excellent experience. Just a short ride from the airport (8mins) but you wouldn't know it. Facilities (spa / breakfast / beach access / pool) were brilliant. Staff came around offering fresh fruit & cold water during the day & all the restaurants were very good. Would come back for sure!

Brilliant!

Truly everything. It is a big complex, but doesnt feel crowded. It has everything. Great quality of interior design. High quality materials. Good breakfast. Kids club. Several pools. You walk outside the resort and enter a cozy ambiance of beach, food market, restaurants (at the beach and in a street). Some shops. Rental agencies. Affordable sunbeds. Beautiful sea, beach and views. As being in a bay. 10 mins from the airport (no sound of planes). Staff and service high quality. Very good value for money.

Everything was good. Maybe a few more cardio machines in the gym, given the number of visitors they get.

A Must visit if you are in Phuket!

We loved this hotel. Friendly STAFF and great location. If you are looking forward to just stay in the hotel, The Slate offers a lot of options. And the food is also great.

Small slice of paradise

Beautiful green hotel with a quiet location far from other Phuket noise .

The prices for food and drinks are steep in the hotel but that was expected for the category of hotel .

Location, breakfast beds and staff are alle excellent.

The industrial theme of The Slate is very prominent and does not work well in all the rooms, making some of the ground floor apartments dark and rather depressing. Not what one would expect at this price level.

Fantastic resort with great staff but unfortunately our drains smelt terrible in our room

Absolutely stunning resort which has everything you need. Staff were great and all the facilities you can imagine

The smell from our bathroom drains was awful in our room. It was the only thing that let they stay down.

Exceptional and hope to do it again!

Staff were very friendly and willing to help, the hotel itself and facilities were nice. The room was exceptional! With every small detail making the stay even more enjoyable!

Everything about the stay was exceptional Although my only complain would be the price was a bit on the high range.
