Nic hotel at good location with friendly staffs

Nice hotel at the prime location, staffs were very friendly and supportive. Rooms were neat, spacious and clean. The good part is, first time I saw 'floor squeegee' in this hotel in the bathroom. Its very important and useful considering the cold climate. Thanks to the staff who thought about this.

Clean and well maintained rooms. Negi Ji was very good and co-ordinating. The staffs were also very helpful. Food was also good and tasty.

The rooms and the facility are clean / new and quite nice. It is centrally located and about 10-15 mins walk to laxman jhoola. The staff was also very nice they called us before checkin to guide us on the route and ensured smooth checkin.

A very clean and comfortable hotel in Tapovan with wonderful staff.

I recently stayed for four nights at the Shivaay hotel. The place is ideally set between lower and upper Tapovan with easy access to both areas and numerous good quality eateries and yoga classes. It was by far the cleanest hotel I have stayed in Rishikesh, with room cleaning service available daily. The bed was extremely comfortable and clean. Having a habit of checking the state of the pillows underneath the pillow cases, theirs were very clean and new looking. I don't know why hotels in India don't use pillow protectors to protect the pillows against the inevitable soiling that occurs. Anyway, these pillows were pleasingly clean. The other major highlight of this hotel was the manager Rakesh and the other staff who were very kind and friendly and made great efforts to ensure my stay was comfortable. They were able to organise taxi transfers for me at very reasonable prices which I appreciated greatly. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Spacious and clean rooms with good amenities

Rooms were quite clean and spacious enough for two occupants. Every room has a balcony which is a huge plus specially for kids. Small things have been taken care well for ex - electric kettle, table and chair, night lamp for reading and bed side table with ample charing points. Overall its sorted out.

There was no room service for lunch and dinning - only tea/coffee allowed in room. You have to go to roof top for dining. Property situated at a very steep turn - I mean you really need to take hard left turn and that too very steep. Might be hard for novice drivers.
