Superb

Great location, fun stay wondering if we were haunted!

We were able to check in quite early, which is always nice to get settled in before you go out exploring. Our room had old-fashioned decor but the bathroom was modernized. After checking in, we read about the hotel and saw that we might be in the most haunted room in Salem but certainly in the hotel(W17), if that's something you wish to avoid or are drawn to. It was mostly an uneventful night regarding the supernatural, but the clock radio alarm went off at midnight on New Year's Eve and again a few minutes later, according to my wife, as I was asleep. The bed was comfortable. There was a small fridge and no microwave in our room. A very nice complimentary breakfast with several choices was offered in a cool basement area. Contactless check-in and out is very convenient. Great location within easy walking distance of virtually all major attractions and numerous restaurants and bars.

In reading other reviews, it seems some rooms might be more luxurious or offer more amenities, such as a jacuzzi tub. But our supposedly haunted room did the trick, so to speak. The stairs up to our room were quite narrow as one would expect in an old property, but they did have something like a luggage dumbwaiter to get luggage upstairs.

Good spot to rest your feet after long days site-seeing.

Very convenient to downtown, walking distance.reserved parking for guests, excellent. Did not indulge but breakfast and sherry a nice touch.

Staircases a bit narrow to climb with lugage.

Look elsewhere for better value.

Breakfast and location both excellent

The room was freezing when I arrived ( below 60). The mini split did not seem to work. Moved to another freezing room. Mini split eventually heated it up. Decor was very plain- did not match photos in site.

Completely what I expected and more!

Excellent location, very friendly staff. The amenities were wonderful- breakfast included. The afternoon wine is nice, we didnt get a chance to partake in it though.

The parking was a little inconvenient. The weather was not cooperating and walking 3-4 blocks with luggage wouldnt make me happy. We only needed one night for parking- luckily but for future stays, its something to think about.

Incredibly satisfying--easily one of the best trips we've ever taken together.

The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room, along with the rest of the Inn, was incredibly clean. My fianc and I had such a great time that we've already been in talks of going back next year!

There really wasn't anything I didn't like. I guess if I had to choose something, the street that borders the Inn can often be noisy with cars constantly honking at one another, but that's no fault of the Inn. Plus, I'm sure some of the rooms farther back are spared of these noisy pedestrians.

The location was good and the ease of communication was nice. The inn was extremely quiet.

Most bed and breakfasts vary their breakfast menu The food wasnt great. The first day our waitress forgot we were outside and didnt come for 40 minutes. When she did remember, she came out and ended up falling (which was extremely unfortunate) and we didnt get our food for about and hour and a half past our reservation time. There were women out smoking in their car in the parking lot all day and night. They kept their doors open which limited parking spaces.
