Very good

Cosy place in a good, quiet location within walking distance of Christ Church, Stadthuys and Jonker.

The rooms were smaller than they looked in photos, and a bit too squeezy for full comfort.

Superb

Great Stay!

Nice staff and good environment. Near to Jonker street, about 7 mins walking distance. The bedsheets and towel provided are clean, there is no weird smell on pillows and matress, we can see the cleaners did the good cleaning jobs! Swimming pool is good for kids to play, my kids enjoyed it.

Limited parking, no fridge to store my drinks.

Very good

Good size room, comfortable bed, good shower and all very clean. Our room had lovely view over a park. Staff were very helpful. Great base a short walk over the river to the centre of the old town. We would stay here again definitely.

There still appears to be a big focus on Covid- posters on walls, hand sanitiser stations etc. far more so than in most other hotels/hostels. It detracts somewhat from the experience.

Great value for money

The place is beautifully decorated, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the swimming pool is a nice bonus

No breakfast offer in the place and the bedroom was very small, we lacked space for our luggage

2 separate toilet & shower room with wash basins in the common area.

The location - not the safest walk to jonkers street as we needed to trudge through constant heavy traffic. Not suitable for family with young children. Pricey rooms.

Ok.

Rucksack Caratel was 10min walk from the touristy Jonker Street. There was daily housekeeping. 3-in-1 tea and coffee bags are provided. 2 plastic bottles of plain water are provided daily. 2 ceramic cups are provided.

Sound proofing wasn't good. Could hear neighbors' activities. The electric kettle was rusty. The shower head is leaky. Showering in the cubicle was like showering in a closed tank - sound of water hitting the floor built up and became louder and louder. My large Decathalon carrier bag disappeared.
