It was fabulous and we wil be back!

What can I say about this place? The staff here are absolutely wonderful. So friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The room was gorgeous and so clean and the pub itself was quaint and welcoming. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so friendly. We truly felt like we were locals!

That we didnt stay an extra night!!

Great overall experience

Pleasant but wouldnt stay again in a room above the pub/restaurant

The staff were lovely

The noise - our room was above the kitchen area, and with a child it wasnt great, so our sleep & rest was limited, also the pillows were very hard

Idyllic!

Lovely, quite new super comfortable room. The pub had great food at dinner and breakfast:) we are really happy. Idyllic stay in the countryside! Friendly atmosphere.

The only thing Id say is the rooms bathrooms light turns on by a sensor and takes quite a long time to turn off. So was a bit annoying in the middle of the night. Other than that, everything perfectly nice :)

Perfect location for Castle Combe race track with cosy atmosphere

Ideal location for visiting Castle Combe race track and also Lacock Abbey. Stayed in the Appartment (Room 8) which was a bonus. with plenty of space for two of us Nice cosy atmsophere too.

Lighting in the living area not really good enough for reading or knitting Roadside location means inevitably that traffic noise intrudes somewhat but understand that there is not much that can be done to alleviate the problem.
