Superb

A lovely haven in a vibrant and slightly chaotic city. Thank-you.

Breakfast was excellent, the bar was welcoming the staff just fabulous. Security taken very seriously, room service is very good and prompt and your every need is cared for immediately. Cars were on time the food was good and all the staff immaculately groomed and professional. I have spent my working life in international hotels and only one was better and that was the Four Seasons Philadelphia and then I'm not sure better is quite right.

I struggle here and would like to offer something. Perhaps in the future a roof garden and bar?

Bit pricey but something grand about this one !

Central location near New Market. There is something really grand about this property. Nice restaurants inside including 360 and Baan Thai and overall staff is well trained like you find in most Oberoi properties.

Price I paid was a bit high and the room is average size with no view atall. The place outside is noisy and very crowded and thats the downside of this hotel. Avoid city facing rooms if you dont like noise but then you will probably have to do with a room with no view. Signs of wear out in woodwork like bathroom doors etc.

Very good

An oasis of luxury!

The location was incredible - its an oasis in the heart of Esplanade/ Chowringhee. The hustle and bustle of the city is right at your doorstep but you cant hear it once you step inside. The decor, staff and service were also impeccable

Superb

Best location, amazing staff

The Oberoi is located in the centre of the city, close to Park Street, and walking distance from the park itself. If the weather is nice, Victoria Memorial is less than a 30-minute walk, some in the park. The staff exceeded expectations, and each was excellent and super helpful. One to notice above others is Antony from the 360 restaurant. Breakfast is a Buffet with a variety of choices for eggs and desserts.

The facility is old; unfortunately, I had a problem with the hot water due to the old sanitation. I asked to move to a different room, but according to one of the staff, the problem was that you need to put the taps in a specific order so I will get the hot water. The premium internet didn't work as expected in the first room, but it worked great once I moved to the 3rd floor.

Fantastic

Kind staff, great bedroom at a very good price for such a fabulous hotel! I used all the restaurants, naan Thai especially left a mark ! The spa and gym were very good too!
