Waited 45mins to check in, waited 30mins for porter to bring bags (ended up fetching it ourselves). No towels in bathroom. Mosquitos at reception due to stagnant ponds. Bottom of spa pool was deteriorated. Music at pool was loud and inappropriate. Room was dirty. Matrasses were old. For same price we ended up staying at an all-inclusive luxury spa

Quick Diani Beach stay

We liked the location of the hotel. It was near alot of stuff and the beach was beautiful!

Check-in was very long. The room wasnt ready when we arrived so we had to hang around for about an extra hour before we could go to the room. Also when we arrived in our room at 2pm there were no towels so we requested and, we went to the pool and relaxed and returned at 6:30pm still no towels so we requested again. We didnt receive towels until we returned home at 11pm they were in the room. The pool chairs are very limited as well and someone stole one of ours while we were in the pool. Thankfully the pool attendant helped us find one. Also our last day there there were no towels available for the pool or beach. The rooms are very outdated and could use some renovations.

An absolutely lovely hotel and location, that we can't wait to return to.

Our stay at Diani Reef was wonderful, we thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its facilities. All of the staff were excellent and went out of their way to provide a good service. We cant remember all of the staff that helped during our stay, but the following are some of the staff that we can remember: In the restaurant area, Beatrice, was very polite and helpful her endeavours to make the perfect English tea. Donnah was touched by our ritual of saying prayers prior to eating. Enock the monkey scarer by day and waiter by night, who was very friendly and helpful. Isika the omelette maker, who made it look so easy. Rose at the Swahili station. Joel, Stephen and Serah on the waiting staff. Christopher (Juan) from housekeeping, who sorted all of our new arrival niggles in super quick time. All the reception staff, especially Khadija. All of the security staff were hard working and very friendly.

Amazing

They have very kind staff everywhere. And the hotel is at the best location just in front of beautiful Diani beach. They have good swimming pools and beachfront restaurant. Also various activities at kids club.

The main swimming pool was occupied by the aqua ball teams between 2-4pm even during Christmas holidays. During this time kids couldnt enjoy the main swimming pool.

The spontaneous change of venues for dinner and the well thought layout and variety of food selections Staff were very attentive and helpful Location was excellent and not congested

There was no aircon at the entrance and the communal toilets downstairs

The hotel is located just in front of the beautiful diani beach. Its very beautiful and nice place.

Central swimming pool was used by aqua ball teams from 2-4pm. During this time no one can swim freely in the swimming pool, even though it was in Christmas holiday season and many children were there. Only baby pool and silent zone pool is available.

Everything. From the food, dinner locations, the breakfast, lunch and dinner set ups were just on point. The food was just awesome, no words can explain it. The Soups 10/10, the main meal as well....... Did I mention the dessert ??? Diani Reef Beach Resort is just a place to be. We loved it.

Very good

The staff were really good and helpful. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The chefs were attentive and tried very hard to satisfy our requirements. We met the marketing lady Sibril and she was so friendly and extremely helpful. She really is an asset to the hotel. She went over and beyond to assist us. The pool was nice and the spa had good treatments.

The hotel rooms need a renovation. The hotel looks a bit run down.
