Disappointing

He offered us water.

Not recommended. Both the room and bathroom were dirty. Considering that the home itself had cleaners which were wiping the floor and surfaces it remains unclear to me how our space could have spider nets, dust and dirt on most surfaces. The room was advertised with having a/c, which did not work. The host politely offered us help to buy a sim card, we agreed and he blatantly took advantage of us by helping us to get a sim card that is 10x more expensive and that stopped working after 20 days. Having been in India for a while now, i can say this was my worst experience. Pushpendra is not someone you can trust.

The best stay in Chennai

Pushpendra was an excellent host. From the time I arrived, he was great with helping me get settled, plan an itinerary, understand the local customs and answered all questions I had. He made me feel safe and welcome in Chennai and I hope to stay there again.

Everything was perfect.
