it took a long time to get hot water in the shower. the maintenance of the old furniture/furnishings can be improved.

Disappointing

It is a palace with history and a beautiful zenana court. If renovated it would be amazing.

A rip off at 185E!!!! We thought we were booking into a good hotel but the property is in need of a complete facelift... high ceiling rooms, no possibility of opening windows, no view (felt like a prison), old furniture, dirty walls, torn towels, the corridors and court all messy after wedding previous day..... The booking.com price dated yesterday was 83E.....even that would almost be too much but 185E for what we got.!!!! My God!! Stay away! Last night my husband asked to speak with the manager at 9am, before our departure today. Ofcourse, this morning there was no manager to be seen. I should add that eventually we were given an acceptable room but the the money charged considering the state of the hotel, is nothing but daylight robbery!!!

Beautiful hotel but needs some upgrading

Beautiful historic building, large room, good food at the restaurant, staff were lovely. We were leaving early so they packed us breakfast to go which was great.

Shower was very old and had only lukewarm water. Very large grounds mean building is somewhat isolated from the street making a taxi or car necessary for any trips outside the hotel
