Pathetic service

Only the Location about the hotel is good.

Manager on duty was extremely rude when we enquired about the mini bar being unavailable in the room. Instead accused me of yelling? Like why would I yell. Extremely poor service!! The hotel is just riding on the good name they earned 5-10 years ago, I've stayed in many high end hotels and this was by far the worst one!!

much maintenance needed on guest services as well as room amenities .

needs a facelift, esp the rooms. there were dust webs in some corners, hair in the bathtub as we checked in.. chipped wooden fixtures and ceilings stains on pillow cases.. shortage of towels .. had to wait 45 mins for them to send us a towel to our room- which we had to ask for as after room cleaning , they did not keep any in the bathrooms ! We actually had to go down ourselves to ask for the towels twice !!! the phones are so outdated that they have no buttons or numbers for housekeeping! they said for connecting to them we shud have pressed the Incase of emergency button!!! even when I called the concierge for a car I needed to book, even though they said they would get back to me in 2-5 minutes, they did not ! I called back in 20 only to hear the same thing , and again - no one even bothered to call back !

Okay stay

The hotel is at great location, super easy to go anywhere in Delhi from there. Staff was polite but very slow and inefficient unfortunately. We had a great night at the 28th floor restaurant for NYE.

While we have an okay experience, that was definitely not a 5 star hotel experience. Prices are much higher than other places but what you receive is below standards. The room is a bit dated, in particular the bathroom which didnt seem very clean. It needs proper maintenance. We had to chase for everything which is definitely not a nice experience - for example they leave just one towel for person, so I had to call 4-5 times to get extra. Every time you call, they say its coming in 5 minutes and are very polite but then it never arrives. The AC in the room wasnt working properly - it was freezing cold and it couldnt be adjusted to heat. They promised to deliver a heater as they couldnt fix it but the heater never showed up :( the kettle in the room was not working so again the same experience - had to call reception multiple times to get a new one.

Im a non smoker but I was given a smoking room, even though I booked it a week ago. My wife was having smell issues in the room.

Very good

All well except lethargy in attending the compliants.

Owing to excess in guests, another hall was opened for the breakfast.

Stayed at Room no. 1826. There was chocking in wash area. Informed to the Operator at number 0 but it couldn't be rectified.

Passable

Fishy & doubtful way of describing the difference between first category of room and executive club to which rooms are same one but only coffee and sweets are extra in executive category. I feel disappointed because The Lalit is not the same one as some years ago .

The receptionists explanation are doubtful about the room category, I paid higher price thinking that I will receive a better category of room ( executive club room ) but the first and cheapest category of room is no different from executive club one .
