View from the cafe is the best you can get , but the way to the hostel is tough, too many stairs

Helpful Staff, good food, good location, value for money

This has been one of my favourite places to stay at in dhamakot, but not anymore. The kind of people staying there are generally looking for a loud party atmosphere. I also don't get the point of playing loud rock, metallic music in the common area at 8-9 am. It's ridiculous. Completely destroys the ambience of the good location.

Unmatched policies as checkout time before 10:00AM, No toiletries (hand wash, toothpaste, handwash) were provided even after asking for same.

A serene home for backpackers in the midst of misty mountains!

The property is situated at a picturesque location. The view of the mountains from the caf is nothing short of life-altering! The staff is warm and co-operative. I would definitely love to visit again and recommend it to my friends :)

Breathtaking views Scrumptious food Adult only polices which made conversations and socializing so much easier Nice positive vibes of the residents And helpful reception staff

Rude guy like Mr Ankit in the cafe (common area) who tried to interrupt us and imposed curfew hours only cos few residents were celebrating birthday and we were laughing bit loud..later he was seen partying with other staff members after shooing us away. Extremely unhospitable.. Zostel should brief thier staff properly and the staff should know how to profile guests better., if et Al they are suppose to do profiling Also 4500rs/per night is way too much for a basic room in a place like McLeodgunj.

Decent stay

Property is decent with lovely views. Staff is helpful. Common area and food is good too.

I faced an issue related to bed bugs that caused me skin rashes. Though Sunny (from reception) was very helpful in getting things replaced (mattress, linen etc). But the situation ruined my experience. Also the 100 stairs can be bit of pain.
