Convenient stop on your way to the natural reserve.

The views and the staff

Building needs serious renovation. Tiles in the bathroom had dark spots also the carpet on the floor needs a deep vacuuming.

Great stay thanks to all the hotel management and staff

Theres nothing to complain about it was a great hotel with great staff they really looked after us. The marketing manager Imesha was always there to help, when need. The reception staff were also very helpful even the restaurant maneger Mr Hillary Smith and all the restaurant staff. I also dont want to forget the hotel driver and the tuk tuk driver Mr. T. Jenudden that is trusted by the hotel also we took a Kandy excursion he was very informative about Kandy also he speaks good English in all nothing to complain about. I recommend this hotel to all visitors that visit Kandy. Carmel and Connie

The dinner buffet in the restaurant was absolutely great!

Room details are a bit sloppy, windows are not closing properly and patched with silicone, a bit moldy as well.

Roof garden had a wonderful view. Breakfast buffet was good

We arrived at around 4 and room wasnt ready. Came back at around 8 and they couldnt find the key service can be improved

Perfect 10!

This is an exceptional hotel. We had the most wonderful stay here. The staff were super friendly and attended to our every need. The hotel has beautiful interiors and our room was supremely well furnished with everything that we needed. There were lovely mountain views. The breakfast was delicious with every taste catered for in an excellent buffet. We booked a transfer from Colombo Airport and to Galle. The transport was comfortable and punctual. There were nice touches for Christmas and the entertainment in the evening was most welcome. We would definitely use this hotel for any return to Kandy. Highly recommended. Thank you so much for a memorable stay!

Rooms were very musty. Not much vegan friendly food. Lots of parties and weddings that continued late with very loud music.

Our three-night stay at the Grand Kandyan Hotel in December was nothing short of extraordinary. The presidential suite exceeded our expectations impeccably clean and well-maintained. From the welcoming ambiance upon entering to the friendly and helpful staff, every moment was a delight. The team's unwavering assistance made our stay exceptionally comfortable. The breathtaking view of the Kandy hills added a magical touch to our experience. To top it off, the delicious buffet offerings at Tamarind was a culinary delight and really enhanced our experience at the hotel. We're grateful to the entire team for helping us create such wonderful memories here in Kandy, and we are excited to return one day. Without hesitation, we highly recommend the Grand Kandyan Hotel to anyone seeking a delightful stay in Kandy.
