They put me in a room that looked clean but the complementary bottle of wine was half drunk, the sheets had wine stains and they had obviously been slept in (visible hair and eyelashes). I asked for fresh sheets and was put in a different room of lesser value and told to leave my things in that one. Took my bag because I needed clothes for the morning and my purse because of valuables. I left cookies my father had brought 2,000 miles as a Christmas present. The next morning I was told there was maintenance in the original room but they would put me in another but I would have to wait until 2.
I walked around and went sightseeing in the rain, came back wet as a dog at 2:30 and was put in a room that was of less quality than the original room. I asked about the cookies and they had thrown them away. I asked about the original room and they had put someone else in it. I asked to cancel my reservation and they told me that they wouldnt refund me the second night even though I only had access to that room for an hour at that point. All I wanted was fresh sheets and even offered to put them on myself and was treated like I was crazy for being upset about being shuffled to three different rooms in under 24hrs. All for asking for a sheets that hadnt been slept in for an hour. They offered me 10% off.

Beautiful well located hotel
The room was very comfortable and perfectly located in the city centre. All staff were polite and helpful.
You can only access the spa for free at specific times. Those times were quite busy, however, it was still a very lovely way to start/end your day.
The breakfast was very expensive and not worth the cost. Much easier to go to the nice cafes in Bath city centre which are a 5 min walk away and much more affordable.

The hotel is beautiful and staff were amazing . Very friendly atmosphere and we had amazing time
We booked our Christmas lunch at the hotel and we didnt enjoy it at all
We paid 300 (a couple) and were expecting a lot more than we got , very disappointed.
The food wasnt worth the price at all ( 3 half of broccoli, one parsnips and couple of deep fried potatoes).
Out booking were included breakfast which wasnt great at all .
Paying 40 for one thin sliced bread and 2 eggs is far too expensive
Apart of the food everything was great .

Glass of wine 17 and can only use the spa 2 hours in the morning or evening. Price of massage 170 and breakfast 40 each
