The Homewood Suites Memphis Germantown has a clean lobby with comfortable seating and bright lights. The staff are friendly and the bed is comfortable. However, the couch in the suite is old with som (Read More)e stains. It is conveniently located near Shelby Farms Park and a short drive to downtown. The rooms have a good layout, with the sleeping area separated from the kitchen and living room. The hotel is recommended for its great location and pleasant staff.

Staff were very friendly. Check-in was easy. Good location. Lobby was clean and nicely decorated. King size bed was comfortable enough. Digital thermostat. Good lighting at bathroom sink. Plugins on lamps next to bed. Price was decent.

Overall, the room looked like it needed to be updated and could've been cleaner - dirt build up, dirty finger prints on the doors and door frames in the bathroom area, various stains on the carpet. Pillows for bed were tiny and flat. Sofa bed - sofa was stained and bed was not very comfortable. TVs only offered cable channels, no streaming apps. 1st floor room could hear people in the parking lot all hours of the night. Could also easily hear through the walls and ceilings.

Nice Property, But Not The Cleanest

The property is nice Ill give them that. Very nice lobby area and the rooms are big for the price.

The tub was dirty. Had pieces of hair and caked on dirt in corners of tub. Bathroom Door was tore up and different colors Im not sure if it was repaired and just not repainted and starting looking old or if it faded into the way it looks. Handicap accessible thing in shower was rusty. Floor in front of vanity area was dirty with brown dirty spots on the door. Walls in room were dirty. Bed looked clean but Im going to assume it wasnt the cleanest either. I didnt use the living room or kitchen area bc it was no telling how filthy the couch was. I mean the tub wasnt clean do you really think there cleaning the couch?! We made due since we got in late and was only in town for one night but I wouldnt recommend it or stay again.
