    Personnel very friendly. Owner very helpful and very knowledgeable on the island and what to do. Rooms are comfortable and of good size. Breakfast is good.
    The rooms on Strait St are extremely noisy untill 1am at least. We changed rooms and the problem was solved since our other room was on the other side.

    The Barrister is a lovely hotel in the heart of a very interesting city.
    This hotel is in the heart of Valletta and an ideal base for exploring the city. With only 25 rooms, the Barrister has a "boutique" feel. Parts of the building are several centuries old but the interior has been recently completely modernized. The staff was very friendly, extremely helpful and able to answer all of our questions about getting around the city, what is best to see as a tourist. Breakfast was excellent, but the only food service available at the hotel. This hardly mattered as there are dozens of excellent restaurants nearby. There are a couple of popular bars nearby which could occasionally be a bit noisy in the evenings, but this would not prevent us from staying at The Barrister again.

    Perfect location on the hilltop of the Valletta peninsula, right in the middle of town, in the historic center
    The neighbouring bars can be a bit noisy at night. But the local Maltese hotel owner is trying to fix this problem, so he told me.

    Beautiful boutique hotel at a central location
    - great location (very central) - staff was incredibly friendly - nice breakfast - room was beautiful and very clean - beverages for free in the fridge
    The hotel is located near a street with bars and especially the first night we stayed, it was very noisy until 2:30 am and difficult to sleep.

    The shower is so low and no curtain around it, it is very difficult to use it!

    The design and the quality of the building, very good atention to details.
    The Noise, its located in front of a street and will be positive to improve the noise insulation. It was difficult to sleep.

    Fell in love with Malta and the staff at the hotel are fabulous
    Its in the city , so its a vibrant area , easy to get to all areas If you want a quiet stay then be out of the city , there is day and night life going on it was what we wanted so perfect for our requirements
