One of the best stays, if you love silence and nature.

The place was very different and unique. I really loved the vibe over there, it was calm peaceful and very close to nature. The host was very friendly and helpful. He guided us with the routes and nearby locations to visit.

It was a great stay. I really enjoyed the place.

Peacefull stay ever

I will not never forget isai ambalam. Even I got only one day to stay,it was such a homely feeling. First thing i think about auroville, it's isai ambalam that comes in my mind. Im happy that I found a wonderful place to stay in auroville.

I liked the lady staff who was looking after the guest house in the morning and the shared kitchen which was helpful for my medical issues.

I did not like the idea that paying for a deluxe double room and getting a single occupancy room instead. Rooms were available but still I was given this room. After repeated requests for changing Mr.Vineet that was his name if I am not wrong- he took the whole thing very sarcastically and blamed Booking.com. He said that it was Booking.com 's fault so that I check out with them and solve my issues. This happened with me for the first time - I am a very old customer of Booking.com. I would really appreciate if you'll look into the matter seriously.

- Clean Room - Large Bathroom Area - Calm Environment

- Guest House switched off the Wifi at night which affected my work. I informed about the same to them, for which they replied that we will look into it. But in reality they didn't helped at all. Rather I find out on my own, that they purposely switched off the main power supply of the WiFi & not bothered to switch it on after request. - No proper mobile network was there in the area, especially in the rooms. - The location of the guest house was really far from the Visitors Centre. I got no assistance in renting a bicycle at guest house to travel. There were no other transportation services at that location only renting a personal vehicle is the option to commute. - No street lights were there in that part of Auroville, which makes it really dark & unsafe to go out after 7.
