the staff and facility great. the overall facility good doorman valet good dined at constantine excellent.

the one major fault, of this premium property is that one of the two club styles in my room - the stitching on the arm was ripped was ripped 3-5 cm in two places. this was on the top of the arm and visible. for a night rate of nearly 300 unacceptable, if housekeeping does not report such trining is needed. if reported a nothing done. i have no desire to return nor recommend.what could be discovered on a second visit? i am aware the hotal has offered as an auction item, for an event nov 230. i am both attending and guest speaker. if such a room was given as the item. both organizations loose.

Exceptional

The perfect place to explore all of Toronto while being totally taken care of by the staff.

Brunch was exceptional. The service from all the staff was totally on point. The location is ideal as it's next to Bloor St and right next to the tube station. It's a long walk down Yonge or Bay St to downtown, but on a nice day, totally doable. I would totally recommend this hotel. The only 'slight' problem (totally out of the control of the hotel) was there was lots of construction going on around the hotel. This obviously won't be going on forever, but it was quiet loud in the early mornings, but only mid week. This however did not affect our wonderful stay. Thank you once again to all at The Anndore House, especially Emma... who makes an incredible Old Fashioned!

Good.

Location was great, staff were friendly, room was a good size and well furnished.

The ventilation was very loud and the temperature was hard to keep steady. There was tea in the room but coffee would have been convenient too.

Very good

Great funky hotel, nice big room. loved the coffee shop.

Funky Hotel, a little different then most. Big very clean rooms. Staff were great, friendly, professional and helpful. We loved the coffee shop. Dave the bartender was great. Nice lounge. very casual and friendly.

I found the value proposition to be less than appropriate. It was a nice hotel, but not worth what we paid.

Superb

Large, comfortable rooms, central location

Fresh, clean and new. Rooms are spacious, comfortable bed and good towels. Information system on the TV had good tips and was easy to use. Record player and albums a fun touch, though we didnt spend enough time in the room to listen to them.

Separation of sink from washroom has pluses and minuses. Construction on park next door less than ideal, but not under their control. Hotel staff a bit under-informed about the neighborhood, particularly dining options. Continental breakfast serviceable but not remarkable.

Disappointing

Overpriced, overrated, uncomfortable stay. Left early.

Aesthetically interesting, unique style and decor.

One of two elevators were not working, they do not have a service elevator so there were long wait times and always filled with staff with large push carts (cleaning or kitchen staff). My do not disturb sign was on the door but the cleaning staff still disrupted me, and knocked just to ask when the room would be available. No coffee machine in the room like the description, only instant coffee packs. Tried checking out before my reservation ended to change hotels, did not stay the night but they still charged me because I did not check out by 11. Need earplugs bc sound travels easily throughout the hall. Record player did not work properly, volume was low despite being at its max. Chair fabric was worn and ripped. View looked directly into the building next door with no privacy or tinted windows. Room was quite small. No breakfast included. Would be more worth it to stay near the airport in a nicer, more affordable hotel, even ubers to a hotel airport would still be more affordable and better experience.
