Excellent, we had a beautiful stay.

Pool, breakfast, staff, rooms

No insulation, heard some bat-like noises and spent a few hours searching the room (turned out to be a lizard)

Loved it.

From the time we came to the hotel, until we left the staff was so so helpful and caring. They always had big smiles on their faces and were willing to go out of their way to make our stay comfortable. The food at the restaurant was really good and fresh. We stayed in a pool villa and it was so pretty and peaceful. We took their free yoga sessions twice during our stay and loved it. The spa staff was amazing and good at what they do. Overall we loved our very first experience in Ubud and had a positive impact on us because of the lovely staff.

Just a suggestion- The mattress could have been better and i found the pillows to be too thick.

The staff is nice and friendly.

You need to sign half a contract when you check in which seems a bit excessive. Prices of food and beverages but also trips like rafting were extremely expensive. Pool area is very small and there is no staff there to order from. There is also a construction site next door that gave very high pitch noises while trying to relax in the pool.

The staff were so warm and welcoming

Beautiful hotel and the staff were adorable. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The pool area was stunning and kept very clean.

It was further from town than I had realised. I would still recommend as everything else was so good.

The setting was rustic and pretty. Helpful staff. Nice taste of food . Plenty of pools. Very close to the paddy fields. They also have a shuttle to the Ubud market several times a day .

The insects are too many because of the jungle. There are too many steps to go to the rooms in the property. The towels were old and torn.

Tranquil stat at the Alena Resort Ubud

Very friendly and polite staff. The manager upgraded me to one for their suites after finding out that i wasnt very happy with the double deluxe room booked. ( the room was musty, no view, outdated and small ) The suite was absolutely beautiful, large and well equipped! The grounds of the resort are beautiful! Lush gardens, beautiful swimming pools! The complimentary massage was an added bonus! The resort is remote but you get the advantage of connecting with nature! They offer a free shuttle service to Ubud.

Far from Ubud center. No restaurants around the resort
