Great stay in Columbo with good food

Nice tidy rooms and the food was great

Would have been good to have more facilities- maybe games or cards available. Also the rooms were a little dark.

Great location, amazing staff, delicious food, comfortable rooms - what elese is needed?

The property was set back from a main road, but within walking distance from many sights in Colombo 03 area. The staff were extremely attentive and accommodating, some of the friendliest staff in hotel I have met.

Over priced but friendly staff

We just stayed one night before going to the airport but the staff looked after us well.

It was way over priced for what we got, considering the toilet didnt flush properly in our room and the room itself was average. We also only got given the western menu at breakfast and wished we could have ordered Sri Lankan food. We also asked about the option for a taxi to the airport. We were quoted 8x more than when we booked it ourselves. The vibe generally is to make people spend money.

Very good

Friendly staff and a relaxing home in heart of busy Colombo

The staff were fantastically kind and always smiling. They will accommodate most requests which makes you feel very well looked after. The location is great and the choice of food and drink was all we needed. Loved the decor and the cosy nature of the hotel.

Only minor point was the room smelled a bit musty on arrival and would have been good to air it out a bit on arrival.

Quiet ad stylish oasis in the center of Colombo

We only stayed at the Lake Lodge one night but had a pleasant stay. Prior to arriving we were in contact with Sholina who helped arrange a dinner reservation for us. The property itself is very central and located down a quiet street. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, and ensured we had an umbrella for the rain and they took care of our bags after checkout until we had to move on to our next location. We only saw the common area but it was beautifully decorated. We had the room with the private courtyard which ensured a lot of privacy. The room itself is styled in a retro way, and is spacious and clean. As it was raining a lot in Colombo during our stay we had a few mosquitos around but were able to get them all before going to sleep. The bathroom is huge and comes with everything you need. All in all we had a nice stay even though it was quite short!
