Unlike a typical Taj I arrived after midnight & they did not pick me up was disappointed I took a taxi & used my own arrangement s as I did not trust their service . Was no apology either I was disappointed

Ambience is amazing. It was my first time staying at the TAJ and it was worth it.

The rooms should have fans inside. The AC wasn't that cold enough. That was uncomfortable

Would recommend for a comfortable modern stay

It was clean and comfortable once issues were resolved. Staff were very kind, friendly and attentive at breakfast.

Check-in process was terrible, other people were being checked-in before us even though we had been waiting 30 minutes. We were then sent to someone elses room the next room had urine on the toilet seat and dirty bedsheets. No apologies given by the manager. Offering free minibar doesnt resolve the negative experience. Didnt feel like a 5 star hotel during check-in.

When I reached the hotel, the receptionist was unable to find my booking even though I had a confirmed booking made through booking.com The receptionist made another booking and I was charged at check-in. When I checked out the next day, my card was charged again. Frustrating, but I understand these things happen. The repayment process has been going on for the last week. I have now sent three emails with no reply from Taj. Still have not received back the credit for the second charge. I expect far better from a brand like Taj.
