Way too noisy

Erm....

Don't expect to sleep. They keep a parrot in cage for some reason. The poor thing squawks right through the early hours. Meanwhile the restaurants directly across the river have an assortment of competing awful loud bands playing till past midnight.

we were severely disappointed in kanchanaburi as a town and in the hostel

Location was passable, near lots of bars and restaurant etc., there were free towels and the staff was absolutely lovely

the bungalows on the water were hideous, there was mold on the walls and the smell in there was so bad. there were worms on the walls and the ceiling which ended up in my backpack, there were mosquitos all over the place and the heat got so bad. eventually we had an upgrade to an AC room which was much cleaner and more comfortable, however the bathrooms were absolutely basic, which would be fine for the money but they were not clean as well.

Cute but needs an update

We loved the hostel itself and yeh common area very much ! The location & staff were lovely The view was incredible

The floating rooms need a serious update we literally couldn't stay in them it was so hot, that fab in the wall doesn't do much, maybe if there was an actual bed instead of the mattress in the floor and mirror in the room it would be so much better

So so pretty! Such a cute family business

It is right on the river which is gorgeous. Walking distance to everything as well! Cute and quiet getaway.

The only complaint I could have would be that there wasnt aircon but honestly I wasnt too bothered and the beds were hard.

good location shame about the facilities

close to main museums and train station. short walk to the bridge.

bathrooms were dirty, mattress was placed directly on the floor wish they provided a mosquito net as the screens on the windows were broken so let the bugs and animals come in even with the lights off. expensive for what we have paid compared to other places

Owners were kind enough to arrange a taxi for me. Thats about it.

Dishonest business refusing to help me in processing a refund for my double booking. Rooms on the river are extremely noisy and mosquito nets arent maintained properly.

Very good

I can walk in a short distance to the restaurant and 7 eleven it's easy to walk along the night market. The room is clean and share shower room clean with good hot water.

Great location with room for a bit more.

Perfect and beautiful location. Friendly staff and great view of the river.

The beds were quite hard - and we do prefer hard beds, but those were hard. The room smelt mouldy and the wall indicated a mould problem. A fridge and more than one towel would improve the room standard.
