Nice place to spend the holidays

Nice place to spend the holidays, next to the mall and not too far from the beach. We usually stay here when we travel to Cancun

pool is not heated, room was not a suite, room cleaning was not very good, gym machines are not in good shape.

Nice view of the Cancun. Good gym and swimming pool. Nice location close to the mall.

It was difficult to find a taxi or an Uber. The room was quite bare, and things within the room kind of felt very fragile

My stay was okay but a little easy improvements would have made it a great stay.

The rooms looked like the pictures except the jacuzzi on the patio. There is only one on the property but it did not heat up at all. I liked the showers and the location was great. Its also a pickup spot for tours/ excursions.

We only got 1 elevator key which is needed to get up to the floor and to cross in and out of the mall. This was very inconvenient when you have a family who want to do different things with kids. Some wanted to go to the mall and some not. This was very annoying and really inconvenient. I did let them know at the front and they said they did not have enough. You also need to turn in the room key to get a beach towel. I think this was a bit ridiculous especially the money we paid to stay there. I just could not understand why they were being so cheap. Also, the washer dryer did not work and left our clothes drenched. They also had a hidden $100 security deposit that Was not mentioned. I dont like surprises so this was annoying.Other than that the stay was pretty good.

Hotel room was well equipped. The guy on the main entrance (which is in a parking hall) was super nice.

We had to pay 1000 peso (over 50 ) deposit and they accepted only cash, we were in luck that we had that amount in cash since they did not tell anything about this beforehand. We tried to negotiate if the deposit could be paid with credit card but they denied. We were not amused with this kind of policy especially when they only accepted cash. It is not easy to get cash in Mexico and we had already counted our travel budget. This was also our final destination so after checking out we were stuck with 1000 peso in cash and no time to spend it since we had to go to the airport. We did not even get a receipt of the deposit. When we were checking out they asked us did we pay deposit and how much, it felt like this was not a hotel policy but rather something else they made up. How could they not know how much they took the deposit? And as I was following other guests checking out they did not have deposit. So maybe this was something based on the guests face if they need to pay deposit or not. It didn't feel good. Even though the room was in a higher floor there were tiny insects in the room. Some sorts of tiny ants that would feast every food in sight and crawl through the floors and tables and walls. The cleaner did not vacuum the floors. The hotel entrance was super hard to find and it felt a bit unsafe to walk there since it was inside of a parking hall. Some minor things: The pool was on north-east side of the building so there were no sun at the hotel pool and there was no possibility for breakfast.

There was music blasting till 4am from the restaurant and we could barely sleep. We ask the staff if we can switch rooms but they wouldnt accommodate.

Great Everything, but Bad First Impression From Staff

The room was comfortable, it had good internet, and there was warm water. There was a large closet and small fridge + silverware. I liked that there was a gym and a laundry machine available. The hotel is connected to the mall, so that was really great. Easy to get Uber eats and shop.

The female woman at the desk was very off-putting. People are spending their hard-earned money to go to another country, they're all excited, and then this lady doesn't greet you at all. Instead of waving hello, smiling, or doing anything customer-service related, she angrily yells at you to wait before you can even approach her. Then as you wait patiently, she yells at you to come over the second she is ready for you. It was really all about her and she had no customer service skills, and she'll ruin your positive vacation vibes. Imagine customers are vacationing to another country, they just land, and their first impression is an unhappy lady. She's not really getting it...bad first impression. Be happy, be welcoming, be kind - that's what a customer service job is.

Room cleaning and security staff are excellent . Close to mall . room is okay

WiFi is terrible , two of the hotel receptionists I dealt with have some attitude . Entrance is hard to find by Uber drivers once they enter there is no sign where to go to hotel malecon . I didnt like the architecture of how room are built . For the room I stayed i need to open a door where there are two rooms in that one room is mine . I felt it like a Airbnb where a small house with two rooms where you need to share with people . I didnt get 4 star hotel vibe .
