The rooms were clean and beautif (Read More)ully furnished, with a kitchenette and a view of the canal. The beds were very comfortable and the location was ideal, with easy access to Rotterdam by train or metro. The reviewers regretted only staying for two nights and expressed a desire to return in the future.

Lovely new meets old hotel with all the thoughtful touches

Picturesque historic location right on the canal in Schiedam. A very old building (built in the 1700s) that was renovated with many modern and useful touches. Very quiet place, you didnt hear much else going on from your room. Excellent Dutch-style breakfast. The staff were also lovely.

Maybe too quiet for some people who like to stay in a bustling hotel with a lot of things going on. But this would be a personal preference, and our visit was during the week in mid-November, when things are less busy.

We loved the location. Staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The room was lovely. The chocolates on the bed and handwritten note was a lovely touch

The couch in the room had stains and was ripped. It wasn't comfortable. The elevator didn't go all the way to our floor but that wasn't a big issue. The room was cold and the heater plug point was far away from the bedroom. There weren't enough plug points for the hair dryer to be used close the bedroom.
