I will be returning to the cottage.

The owner went above and beyond to help us. I forgot my license in the US and had to have it 48 hr shipped. The owner was so sweet and hospitable she can back early from her vacation to help out. Cottage was beautiful. Close to the bus station. Take to 124 to city center.

The cottage was a perfect base from which to explore Edinburgh and Portobello, with good access to buses. The house itself was clean, comfortable, cosy and very well equipped. The owner got in touch and offered a high chair and bed guard which were a great help to us. Would happily book again.

Overall a lovely comfortable cottage in a great location at a reasonable price.

It was very clean inside, almost as if it hadnt been used before. It was very cosy and warm, in a great location. The property was finished to a nice standard with the kitchen and bathroom fixtures, the owners went to some effort to decorate it for Christmas for us which was lovely.

There was no long mirror at all in the property, tea coffee and milk were supplied but no sugar. The TV in the lounge was way too small for the size of the room and the distance the sofas were from it, I had to get my long distance driving glasses in order to watch it. It would have been nice if there was a DVD player provided in order to watch something other than Freeview in the evenings. The recycling bags that we were asked to used were quite laborious and got in the way in the kitchen, it might be a good idea to get a recycling bin put in the kitchen instead of separate stand alone bags.

Superb

Fantastic clean comfortable cottage near Portobello.

impeccably clean and recently refurbished. 15 mins walk to the beautiful Portobello seafront and 15 min drive to city centre. Very comfortable stay. We shall definitely return.
