Great location in NJ within easy reach of NYC.

the location was great. close walk to either Newport or Exchange Pl PATH stations to travel to Manhattan. If you can spare the travel time to get across the Hudson, Jersey City is the way to go. Accomodation is much cheaper than Manhattan especially around xmas/new year, and much quieter. We liked that. Staff were friendly and very accomodating. A great little self serve "minimart" at the front desk. We could buy snacks and even laundry detergent. Having a free laundry facility was excellent.

Not much. just nit picking here now. the rooms only came with one roll of toilet paper. We're a family of 4 and stayed for 7 nights, so had to return to reception twice to get more toilet paper. Not a deal breaker and the staff were very accomodating.

Affordable hotel; great for longer stays and only one train stop from NYC

I was pleased with our choice to stay here. We are a family of 4 and stayed here for 3 weeks during the Christmas holidays. I had read some not-so-great reviews and was unsure what to expect but we were very happy with this hotel. It was much more affordable to stay here and take the PATH train than comparable places in NY. The PATH train is an easy 9-minute walk. We had no issues using it or the metro. Our view was lovely- the NY skyline and the World Trade Center were visible from our window. The room was big enough for the 4 of us and was clean. Free washers and dryers are nice with a longer stay, and we used the kitchenette. The staff were friendly. There are restaurants, grocery stores, a mall, a target, and more all within walking distance or a short Uber ride. The area was safe and pleasant to walk along the water. Liberty State Park is a short drive from the hotel.

As the rooms are cleaned weekly, it would be nice if the rooms included a broom and some basic cleaning items so that we can clean it ourselves. Naturally, things get untidy but we had nothing to clean or sweep with. The room had a dishwasher but it did not clean the dishes well. There were not enough utensils for 4 people.

It was a pleasant stay and if the rates would have been better I would have stayed much longer

Great Location, the staff is very accommodating and friendly, very good for traveling with pets, easy to get to Manhattan, the bed was extremely comfortable, parking was available, room was a decent size

The price of the room is very high considering that you could get a hotel room in Manhattan for a similar price, it is only a 2 Star hotel and it is a great two star hotel but the prices are exceptionally high considering you are in Jersey City.

Good

Good value but too loud.

Nice spacious suite, not too far from the PATH. Rooms come equipped with stove and fridge.

Our room, and many of the rooms at this hotel, are right beside light rail tracks, which were quite loud and ran at all hours. This would have been nice to know before booking.
