Very good

Small and sweet.

Location is good. Nice to have direct access to the beach. There is talking parrot - absolute favourite. Half of our family stayed somewhere else but they didnt mind them hanging around at the pool with us.

Everything was nice. Staff spoke really good English and was very helpful.

Excellent stay, great little hotel.

It was perfect for our 1 night stay. Had everything we needed, nice room, comfortable bed, great service from reception. The pool area was nice, the beach area was good. Looked exactly like the pictures.

We had no hot water even after reception coming to help us.

Amazing stay at So KohKoon. Felt like we were staying in someones house and not a hotel.

Loved the location, the simplicity of its layout and the proximity to the beach! Quentin and Steve were very helpful hosts. When we had a lot of confusion on our early morning checkout time, I needed to call Quentin at midnight and he picked his phone, he helped with everything and ensured clothes we had given for laundry (expecting a later checkout) were delivered to our next hotel. They even helped me get a rental car from JP Car Rental. These guys were professional and Pia from the company accommodated our early car drop off very graciously (we had to call her at midnight too). The bar and restaurant on premises are very cute and cool. Theres an Ara Macaw in the hotel thats super cool! They had machines that took humidity from the air and made water. That was MIND BLOWING!

Shower area needed a door to keep water from getting everywhere in the bathroom. Other than that, we loved everything about this place!

Comfortable Boutique Experience!

We stayed at So KohKoon for 1 night while waiting for the ferry to Koh Phangan. We stayed in the room right on the beach, and it was nice to wake up to high tide and beautiful water. The staff is super friendly, and our kids loved the talking parrot. The location is perfect for a quick walk to the ferry to Koh Phangan - it was only a 3 minute walk. We really appreciated that the hotel had water filters to fill up water bottles, which decreases single use plastics. It is a step towards sustainable tourism, and we appreciate this move.

Just the walk to the beach and thats it

We stayed there for a night but something just didnt seem right. Later had a huge cockroach in our room and no body to help us out with it as the there is no staff after 8pm for some reason. We also ordered a taxi which didnt arrive until 6:15 even though we ordered it for 6 for our flight at 8 as suggested by the dude on the reception and had no contact whatsoever for the driver or the staff to help us out as they booked our cab. After million calls at 6am in the morning which is quite rude but had no other way.

Good location but low value for money

The location of the place was good, only short distance from e.g. the airport / pier.

Simply for the price you pay for one night, you can get much better accommodation in Koh Samui. For example, the pool was very small, no breakfast, and the bathroom was not very comfortable. Also our lock was poor quality.
