Superb

Great location, fun and quirky hotel.

So funky - not your average bland hotel. Rooms were quirky and beds comfy. Great bath!

Only downer was we took our own pillows (memory foam and shaped so definitely different than theirs!) and the housekeeping took our (silk & bamboo) pillowcases off and put their ones on our pillows - our beautiful cases are gone for good

Superb

Staff were really friendly and hospitable; nothing was too much for them. Wonderful pool, jacuzzi and sauna and even managed a gym session in the well equipped gym. The changing facilities for the pool and gym were also well looked after and perfect for our requirements. Bed was super comfy and being on the 8th floor, city side, we didn't have an issue with any street noise. We had a late flight so it was great to be able to leave our luggage in an assigned place and felt confident it was secure. We were well looked after well after check out! Brilliant buffet breakfast with so much choice, we were well filled for the day!

There weren't many spare plug sockets in the room: both plugs on one side of the bed were used for bedside lamp and clock, there was a spare on the other side of the bed. One by the window for a lamp on the desk but that seemed to be all. So the hairdryer had to be used far away from any mirror and ironing had to be done in the gap to the side of the bed. Small thing was that there wasn't any alcohol in the minibar and so you order that as room service. Fair enough, but the QR code system to order wasn't working when we tried it. We could have gone to reception to ask but we didn't have enough time before we had to shoot out anyway. Hopefully that's fixed for others in future soon.

Excellent hotel with great amenities

Rooms were lovely and clean. Space was set out nice. Loved the bath and the complimentary mini bar.

Only thing that was a slight inconvenience was the robes were not in the room and it took a while for them to bring them up. But this isnt major.

Disappointing

Bed comfortable.

The room was not what I booked it had no bath and was a disable wheel chair accessible room so the shower curtain came down to my hip water everywhere and the vanity was so low as to be impractical. Small vanity too, no where to put anything. I had an event so did not have time to change rooms just had to suck it up. Should have been informed at check in then I would have said no.

Breakfast was fab! A wonderful selection and fantastic quality.

We stayed in room 1404 I think, room was great. Was slightly surprised at the amount of noise from pipes (running water sounds) that could be heard at night coming from other rooms I guess.

Very good

The hotel was gorgeous, very opulent and spacious. Rooftop bar was stunning with the views over the Harbour and Rangitoto Island. Will definitely be back.

Housekeeping came into our room at 9am unannounced and woke us up even though check out wasn't until 11am or 12pm. Very odd and left us feeling uneasy

Superb

So Comfy - very nice stay.

The decor was fabulous, the room super comfy, the complimentary refreshments greatly appreciated. Loved the shower and the bath in the room. Got to watch a free and recent movie on the TV. Lights and furnishings in the foyer were fun. Rooftop bar really interesting (but we felt a bit old). Didn't have time to use the pool or gym but was great they have these here for folks to use.

Our view was of a building under construction and there was a bit of construction noise going on during the day. I was very disappointed not to have a harbour view. I messaged the hotel to ask if we could change rooms for the 2nd night and they did not even acknowledge my message. Complimentary snacks were not replenished when the room got serviced.
