Extremely Disappointing Stay!!!

Rating: (Warning: Avoid at all costs) If you enjoy filthy accommodations, nonexistent staff, and an overall dreadful experience, then Snow Drop Villa in Kodaikanal is the perfect destination for you! From the moment we set foot on this property, any semblance of hospitality was nonexistent. No staff, no welcome just an abyss of neglect. Our desperate calls to the management for check-in assistance were met with eerie silence. We were left stranded, unable to even access a restroom after a grueling journey. The rooms were a dark abyss of despair, with dingy corners and towels that seemed to have never met a washing machine. Oh, but the real kicker? A surprise guest in the bathroom a frog. Yes, you read that right. A frog. Our kids were so petrified that using the bathroom became a traumatic experience. As if the revolting conditions weren't enough, the management's indifference bordered on criminal neglect. Snow Drop Villa isn't just a hotel; it's a breeding ground for disappointment and discomfort. Save yourself the agony and steer clear of this establishment. It's not just a stay; it's an endurance test, and frankly, I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.

A Good villa with a nice care taker.

The villa is very nicely designed and decorated. The garden and the landscaping is very nice The sit out in the villa is very pleasant for relaxing The care taker Ms Sathya was very friendly, helpful and available for any needs. She cooks food based on our request. There is internet Wi-Fi with adequate speed and smart TV. Also there is UPS facility for basic power backup during the frequent power cut in kodaikanal what I encountered during stay.

I enquired the property supervisor about the availability of iron box prior to the stay and I was assured the facility was available in the villa. However the iron box was not functional and I couldnt get my clothes ironed during the stay Also the room heater was not functional during my stay.

Superb

The Cottage and its ambience is really awesome. We had a pleasant stay at the place. The staff (akka) is so nice and really helping us. Hatsoff to the host for making our stay really enjoyable.

Finding the correct route to the cottage is really hard. Please consider correcting it in the Google maps.

Good villa with need of improvements

Villa and Rooms are very good looking.. Almost close to all attractions. Easy chekin checkout.. Very photogenic villa.

Heat water was not working prperly as no water force.. I really didnt expect this in a cold place. Road to villa is poor and we have to park vehicle outside.
