Very nice experience staying at Smriya homestay. I felt very welcomed by the family. The room was a bit small but very cozy and had everything you basically need. Location is good, away from the busy town and quite. The dinners were fantastic. All in all I recommend and will definitely come back for a second time.

Excellent budget stay in Darjeeling

If you are travelling on a budget and willing to sacrifice a "mountain view room" - Smriya will surely impress you. It's a short and pleasant walk from the attractions (Zoo/ Mall Road etc.) The facilities provided were accurate to the description, the property was very clean and the free wifi was impressive. I tried the in-house food once and was very happy.

Access to Smriya Homestay is through a short climb up from the main road
