Spotlessly clean, great beach, and exceptionally helpful staff. Special thanks to Samira at the front desk!

The wifi was shockingly bad I had to buy an e-sim to have 5G instead. Something as basic as a strong wifi connection is to be expected given the price of a place like Shangri-La.

Fantastic service and fabulous experience. The hotel is located on a fantastic private beach.

Hotel fantastic. Personal extremely professional and friendly. Quiet if you stay at Al Husn hotel. Rooms are very confortable and all workers are concentrated to satisfy customers. Private beach and private pool with a service extremely fast. We had an excellent experience!

Internet connection very slow. Information shared by the staff not always updated. Not clear on the reservation in Booking.com that there are 3 different hotels! You are reserving at the Hotel Shangri-La Al Waha but this is an hotel for families automatically the reception at the Al Waha hotel suggested to book at the hotel Al Husn which is more exclusive and more quiet but as well more expensive

Lots of activities for kids and adults. Food was good. Lots of choice. Beautiful location - would definitely come again!

Service at both the pool bars was very slow. Ordering a drink to sunloungers would take at least 30 minutes.

Breakfast was good but need more vegan options such as non-dairy milk etc. Beach is lovely. Lots of options for young children.

It wasnt clear when I booked that there are actually three hotels as part of the Shangri-La. Make sure to research well before booking. I booked Xmas dinner but was sent to a different place which cost more. Double check in advance so you know exactly what you are getting for your money. I think its overpriced for what it is. Some of the staff are lovely. Some are rude.

Excellent family holiday spot though expensive (especially the food)

Excellent location, well maintained facilities. Overall a nice place for a family vacation. The housekeeping staff were amazing and the normal housekeeping work was indeed superlative. Big shoutout also to Riyaaz from the housekeeping staff.

Food was not great. For the rates, the quality of chicken I thought was very poor. Also we were not adequately briefed about our food options - had to pay extra for my daughter for breakfast on arrival and we ended up paying for drinks for half board. There also seemed to be no awareness and coordination between staff of the three properties about where which events were to happen. The magic show for example, we kept moving from Bandar to Waha for over 30 mins and could not figure out where it was.

A wonderful experience. Wifi issue need to be fixed

The location and the beach. Khalid at conceive was incredible resourceful. Alfredo was helpful and assisted in providing us with all necessities such as picnic and towels for our excursions. Tharusha was artistic and surprised us with beautiful towel art in our rooms.
