Good property with very bad staff & management!!

Property is located in coffee farm and it is maintained neatly.

Staff and owners behavior is very rude our driver has asked them to provide towel and they have ctrated a big scene for this. They are not treating drivers like humans, no basic facilities provided. Because we asked for towel and advised them to provide basic facilities for drivers, they got offended. During check out all of their staff were there and their staff only put our laguage in our car. We left informing them about the check out and they said all ok you can check out. During breakfast time, we've asked them whether they provide coffee and tea, they said yes and sent 2 coffee and milk for my kids. When I left the properties owner called me and started using abusive language stating I ran away without paying the bill for that coffee and milk. I tried to explain him stating no one has informed us about this during check out, and we thought we'll get coffee and milk as we had complementary breakfast included in the package. The bill was 160rs and he made a big scene shouting on call. I was driving the car at that moment, and I informed their staff will make the payment in sometime as I was driving at that time. The bill I paid for this room is 6550rs and he says we ran away for this small 160rs. Our experience during the stay was good, but this entire episode has changed our experience about the staff and owner. We didn't even got any bill when they served coffee, so we got confused about the charges. I'll leave it to the owners discretion on how he behaved with the guest for this 160rs.

Serene Paradise

This place is such a serene paradise! Beautiful location with very well done up rooms. The staff ensures you are very well looked after and extremely courteous, specifically Preeti, who manages the place. The food is freshly cooked and very tasteful, they have a good chef. The rooms and bed linens, towels are so clean and hygienic. Overall, it was a great place to stay in Coorg, Madekeri.

Nothing that we did not like about this place.

Serene place for a peaceful holiday

Beautiful location, very well maintained clean rooms, good food & most importantly, amazing courteous staff who look after the guests needs very well.

Staff was great, very polite, social, and helpful. View from the balcony was amazing. Liked the bonfire, cats, and overall room features.

The driveway to the resort was a little too steep.

I am with full energy to go back to my regular routine, my mind wellness trip went well with Serene Woods Stay

The location, which is isolated from the city and the morning and night view from the rooms balcony was amazing, the bird chirps everyday at the morning wake up was the best.

I wont say I dont like but the path to reach the location should have been better.

The location was sublime, right in the middle of the coffee plantation. It was a place that took away all the tiredness of the mind and soul. Waking to the cacophony of nature and sleeping to the chorus of the insects in the night made us long to come back again soon. The time we spent seemed too little. The food was good and tasty.

The only negative I can think of is that I would have loved to see more Kodagu food on the menu.

9/10 - Nice, Calm & beautiful place to stay with your family.

Location - 10/10 - midst of Dense Forest and Coffee estate - walking down, beautiful experience. You WILL enjoy. Food - Breakfast ok, Dinner - 9/10. Kind staffs. Big and clean rooms with nice Balcony view. - 9/10. Close proximity to city center.
